New Earth is proud to partner with YouthBuild Charter School of California (YCSC) — a WASC-accredited high school serving youth ages 16–24 who have left traditional schools without earning a diploma.Together, we provide a powerful pathway for young people to reconnect with their education and unlock opportunities that lead to success in school, life, and beyond.

New Earth YouthBuild offers a variety of graduation pathways designed to support each student’s unique needs and goals.

Our clinical and administrative teams collaborate with students to provide comprehensive support for their academic, emotional, and personal development.

Blended Learning

The flexible scheduling at New Earth YouthBuild is made possible through a blended learning model that combines in-person and online instruction.

Project-based learning

Through co-teaching and interdisciplinary projects, teachers and New Earth instructors engage students by linking academic content to their unique interests, passions, and strengths.

Mastery-and competency-based instruction

Students are evaluated based on the knowledge and skills they demonstrate, rather than the time spent in class or the completion of assignments.

Career Readiness

Through the Earn While You Learn model, students participate in a variety of hands-on experiences that expose them to postsecondary opportunities and equip them with the skills needed for life after graduation.
